Tis the Tumblr Season: Holiday Edition!

Hello my little reindeer! It's that time of year again! The time when (if you celebrate) sparkles and eggnog and trees and snow all come into being. And presents. Those too. 

I tend to LOVE this time of year, kind of an insane amount....some call me the Christmas Queen! (Ummm, I'm the only one who calls me that), and for me this time of year makes me happy. I am a tradition-maker, and most of mine fall at this time of year. Even when things change and throw everyone for a loop, I am all about creating new traditions. Not to replace the old ones, but to replace the happiness of the ones that are no longer there.

And getting snugly and warm is one of my FAVOURITE things to do at this time of year. Too bad Toronto has been practically tropical this winter. As in, NO SNOW. I am not fond of a green Christmas, or for it being warm this time of year. THIS IS CANADA....BE COLD AND SNOWY.

I always put my tree up preeeeettyy early in the season. Let's say the day after Remembrance Day. I KNOW that is disgustingly early but I love the lights. It's all about the twinkly lights for me. I have them all around my house and have them lit all throughout the year, but those are the SUMMER lights, duh. I can't light them up this time of year.

AHHHHH!!!!! I love this.

I need a little more of this in my life right now. This has been the warmest winter I can remember, with it being a steady 8C (46F) on most days. That is too warm! Almost hot even! I know I am crazy, but I live for snow this time of year. Once January hits, I am over it. I want it for Christmas and New Years and then I am done.

So who has been stealing all of Canada's snow this year? Are you getting more than usual?
