Here's Looking At You 2013

Who else is excited to see 2012 gone? I personally am pretty excited for 2013, I think it will be a good year. And I know everyone always starts out positive and then things go to shit, but I never start out positive. So it says something that I am this year right?

2012 wasn't the best year, but it wasn't the worst either. Everyone goes through shit, some way worse than others, it's how you decide to deal with that shit that is telling of how you wish to live your life. You can do what you need to do in order to deal, and then do your best to move on. Negativity and sadness will get you nowhere. Realizing that there are things you can't change and for the most part we all live pretty decent lives (it could ALWAYS be worse) is a huge feat for me to accomplish, but damned if I am going to try. 2013 is the year to be happy with what you have, and not be sad over the things you don't. 

Because I am a lucky girl.
